We are very pleased to invite you to the Sixth International Conference on Futures and Other Derivatives (ICFOD), which is jointly organized by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Beihang University and hosted by the Centre for Global Finance, University of Nottingham Ningbo China in the vibrant city of Ningbo, China on November 3rd to November 4th, 2017.

This ICFOD conference aims to bring together academics, policymakers and practitioners to discuss a wide variety of topics on global derivative markets and their implications for market participants. The conference will provide an excellent international forum for sharing new developments in theories, methodologies and applications of futures and other derivative markets. It looks for significant contributions to all major fields of financial derivatives and aims to provide both researchers and practitioners a platform to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field.

Since its establishment in 2012, the International Conference on Futures and Other Derivatives (ICFOD) has been a real success. Having obtained a significant response from research and industry sectors, the ICFOD is gaining prominence as one of the major academic conferences in the field of futures and derivatives research in China. In 2015, the ICFOD first add the “Academic Forum on Derivatives” as a regular program of the conference, the forum gained widespread concern and active response from both academic and business communities.

The conference invites papers in all areas of derivatives including commodity and financial futures, options, and other derivatives.
