The Front Range Finance Seminar is a unique forum for finance faculty across the Front Range region to exchange research ideas and collect feedback in a collegial environment. As the foremost seminar in the region, this forum provides a unique opportunity for leading scholars to share their research, learn about upcoming developments in the literature, and develop helpful contacts.

The first Front Range seminar was held at the University of Colorado Denver in April 2010. The event was hosted bi-annually by various institutions including Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming. In 2015 CU Denver reinitiated an annual seminar and has remained the host institution.

This year's keynote speaker is Sheridan Titman, Professor of Finance, at the University of Texas at Austin. The seminar will include visits to renowned places in Denver such as Red Rocks. There will a $3000 prize for best paper and a $1000 prize for best discussant.
