The University of Greenwich has appointed Professor David Otley, a performance management expert, as Visiting Professor to the Business School.
Professor Otley has spent the last ten years as Associate Dean (Finance & Resources) at the Lancaster University Management School, where he retains an emeritus position. He spent 38 years with the institution, reaching the position of Distinguished Professor of Accounting & Management.
David has taught extensively on performance management for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
He is a Fellow of the British Academy of Management and was the founding editor of the academy’s journal, the British Journal of Management. David has published extensively in many major international journals and was a member of the ESRC Research Grants Board.
