Sturgeon Capital is an alternative investment manager focused on frontier and emerging markets. Founded in 2006, the firm manages the Sturgeon Central Asia Fund, a multi-strategy hedge fund focused on Central Asia and the Caucasus. The fund invests across three strategies wthin the portfolio, those being, credit and fixed income, long/short listed equities, and special situations (largely private equity). Geographically the fund invests in Azerbaijan, Republic of Georgia, Kazakhstan, Southern Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
