This special issue solicits original research papers focused on Islamic Finance. We will consider manuscripts that address the broad set of issues dealing with Islamic Finance; theoretical or empirical. In particular, we are interested in papers that deal with Islamic corporations, including Shari’ah compliance principles and processes, the comparative analysis of Islamic and conventional companies, the Islamic financial system, capital structure issues, Islamic equity financing, sukuk financing, Islamic working capital issues, project evaluation in Islamic Finance, dividend policy issues, corporate and Shari’ah governance, and hybrid securities in Islamic Finance.
Successful submissions will constitute of original works that make a significant contribution to the literature and to a better understanding of the workings of Islamic Finance.
The Special Issue will be guest edited by Professor Kabir Hassan (University of New Orleans)
