Current conditions and the outlook in global risky debt markets will be explored based on Dr. Altman's established credentials as perhaps the world's leading authority on high-yield and distressed debt markets, as well as his pioneering models for assessing the probability of default for corporates and sovereigns.

Dr. Altman's lectures and case studies will be complemented by discussions lead by such leading practitioners as Dan Rodriguez and his unique perspective on the role and implementation of risk management strategies for the equity and arbitrage markets as well as global portfolio management. In addition, Theo Phanos, an experienced and highly successful distressed debt investor, along with Dr. Altman, will explore the distressed debt investment world strategies for competing in this increasingly popular asset class, especially in Europe.

Participants will learn from Dr. Altman, one ot the world's most heralded instructors with over 45 years of teaching experience for MBA, PhD and Executive Program students.  His unique understanding of practical, institutional issues, as well as his pioneering works in developing risk management models, including his famous Z-Score family of credit risk models, is a priceless experience for attendees. This will be Dr. Altman's only public presentation in the U.K. in 2012.
